Marilyn made Filigree in a class taught here in St. George by Judy Niemeyer. This quilt was part of a series of quilts Marilyn made for a T.V. show she taped last fall, showing an "overlay look" technique.
She then sent it on to PIQF in Santa Clara, California, where it won "Best Of Show".
Congratulations Marilyn!
We all crowded around Marilyn as she explained her techniques in detail.
For all you longarmers, I took some up close shots so you can see Marilyn's amazing work.
What a privilege to see this remarkable quilt in person. WOW!!! Definitely lucky!
