These can be quite addictive to make!

Lori had Mr. Honey cut up one of his old measuring tapes as a donation for our work night. We rounded the corners, then wrapped the edges with duct tape so they would not cut into the fabric. Great tips!
It was so wonderful having my dear friends Lori and Jodi here for 5 days of quilting fun. Thank you ladies, and I miss you already!
Tomorrow I will show you some of the things Jodi spoiled me with.
Apron in a Jar. What a wonderful idea. I'm looking forward to seeing your apron when it's done. Sounds like you all had a great time together. Loved the rest of the pictures too. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've given cookie-in-a-jar gifts before, but apron in a jar is just too cute and clever! I love the pom pom trim stuffed into the top!

Friends like Lori and Jodi are BLESSINGS!
ReplyDeleteThis is all SO clever! What a great friend Lori is! I especially like the idea of the measuring tape inside to work with a magnet. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteWhat great ideas! What a dream - 5 days with fellow quilters - who come bearing gifts, no less!! Word to the wise - I used the snap bag technique on a Tag-a-Long purse (Teri Atkinson design) - didn't SNAP as well - because the purse is too big! Hmmmm.
