My friend Nanette Merrill of Freda's Hive is the pattern designer. I love this quilt and think she did such a wonderful job in creating the design.
What little girl wouldn't like to have All Dressed Up to decorate her bedroom?
Judi of Green Fairy Quilts did the fabulous longarm quilting.
I had so much fun making All Dressed Up, that I'm a little sad it's finished.
All of the dresses were hand appliqued.
Judi's quilting really "made" the quilt. She had such talent!
I love your quilt. And it is so beautifully quilted too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love everything about it. The quilting is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh my forget the little girl, I would love that quilt. Beautiful quilting. I really love the way you embellished the dresses, just darling!!

ReplyDeleteThis quilt is the cutest yet! I love every single dress and wish they actually made them to wear and the quilting is so beautiful. You outdid yourself with this one!
ReplyDeleteEven though I'm very generous in giving my quilts away...someone would have to fight me tooth and nail to get that one out of my hands. I just keep coming back to look at it over and over. It's such a pretty quilt and makes me happy just to see it. Beautiful quilting as well.

ReplyDeleteThis is STUNNING!! (I came here after Nanette posted a link.) Did you put the buttons and trims on after the quilting or before???? Seeing this reminds me that I have an unopened package of texture magic and have NEVER used it......*sigh* Better get myself moving, huh?

ReplyDeleteKerry,
ReplyDeleteYou didn't leave a way to reach you by e-mail, so I'll answer your question here:
The dresses only need a scrap about 6" X 6". They are so fun to make, and are easy to applique!
O my goodness; what a fabulous quilt!
