I've been trying to finish up on some Christmas presents.
I haven't worked with wool for the longest time, and it was so nice to be back with a needle and thread.
I thought it was only fitting I work on a project that has pomegranates. I even made another batch of pomegranate jelly last night.
I love the texture and variety of working with hand dyed wools.

Very Very Pretty. Lovely handwork Nedra!
ReplyDeleteNedra it is just beautiful! Wool is so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWorking with hand dyed wools is always a joy. It's like sewing thru butter! Your work is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOoh I love pomegranates in quilts, they have such an eyecatching character about them, and yours is stunning xo
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE this!! Of course I love it too because of all the pomegranate jelly I made too.
ReplyDeleteLove the long tongues on the edges Nedra! I'm glad you got to work with wool again so you'd remember how wonderful it is! LOL
ReplyDeleteLovely runner, Nedra. Good luck finishing your gifts!!

Lovely runner. I love pomegranate in every forms, color and taste. I have seen this runner, but can't remember from where? APQ magazine? Hugs Nat
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour wool pomegranate table runner is beautiful. I also love working on wool hand projects. I have made several pillow tops while recovering from surgery followed by viral pneumonia. The pics are on my blog, take a look. I will make them into pillows after I am well enough to sew. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Oh my goodness Nedra, you do such beautiful work. Lucky person who receives your gift!!
ReplyDeleteYour runner is lovely...some day I might get into wools.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that they don't ravel without a turned edge!
Oh that is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wool work. Someday I'll work with wool more. I've never had pomegranate jelly. I think I told you that last year. Maybe I'll ask to taste it when we get together this spring.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful Nedra! I love wool and I love pomegranates so this is a spectacular combination!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Christmas!
