A week in Park City. Time to sew and be with best girlfriends. It doesn't get much better than this.
Mission accomplished.
Ruth and Judi
We've been best girlfriends for years and years. We were trying to add up, and we think we have done this annual get-away together for around 13 years now.
Beth also finished this yellow quilt.
There were many artisans selling their wares.
This man was making beautiful Tongan wood carvings.
To add to the interesting people, these guys who ran this booth took me back to the 1960's where I was raised near San Francisco. Anybody remember Haight Ashbury? Groovy man.
One morning we did a photo shoot with Judi. She wanted a new picture for her blog photo. Ruth and I got out our camera's and shot away. I took this one, and I think she looks so pretty!

Ruth worked on piles of blocks from her scraps.
Beth
I brought supplies so the ladies could try Texture Magic on the cupcake tote.
This is Beth's tote.
Bethie also made a scissor holder. She Texture Magic-ed a 9" square and then cut out a 6" circle. She added binding to the edges, folded and added a covered button for the closure.

In the winter this place covered in snow and filled with skiers.

One daughter is a graduate of the University of Utah, and another will graduate in December. Do you think I should get them one of these tye dyed shirts for Christmas?
Apples from the Santaquin valley.
Pretty cool that you've been doing this getaway for 13 years! And you were all so productive! Love all the produce you are taking home. I would probably skip the tie dye shirts. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of fun you're all having! Keep enjoying your time together! I love Judy's pictures too!
ReplyDeleteOh the produce looks so yummy! Did you really go there today (Wed)? Just trying to put it on my own calendar...I didn't know they had a Farmer's Market. I would love to go!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having a great, productive, fun time!
