Texture Magic Conversion Chart

Would you like to be able to use Texture Magic on a project, but are unsure of how to allow for the 30% shrinkage? Superior Threads has come up with a Conversion Chart to help!

For example, say I want to use Texture Magic on the bottom of a purse, and I want to end up with a piece that is 17" X 5". Looking at the chart below, I would cut a 22 1/2" X 6 1/2" piece of fabric and Texture Magic. I would stitch them together, and then steam. The result will leave me with a piece just a little bit larger than the 17" X 5" so I have room to cut out my section.

  1. Nedra,

Thank you for this conversion chart. For those of us that are a bit hesitant, this is quite helpful. Rule of thumb guidelines are very helpful when planning a project.

I love Texture Magic and can't wait to play with it.

    Thank you for sharing.
