A Few More Finds

Here are a few more finds from the So. Cal Quilt Run.
This cute little cupcake pattern is actually a small purse. I have a grand daughter on the way and I'm already thinking how much she will love carrying around this little purse. I know I'm way ahead of my self, but I just can't help it.
It's called Little Cupcake Tote designed by Penny Sturges for Quilts Illustrated.

I want to make the frosting part out of Texture Magic, a new product from Superior Threads that shrinks 30% in every direction. Pictures will be coming soon!
I also purchased this Short Trip Tote by Allison Quilt Designs

I loved the yoyo's and being able to do decorative stitching in between. I will be experimenting with some fun variegated threads from Superior.

I have no idea what I will be making from these guys but they were too cute to pass up.


And then I saw this fabric that looks like cones of thread. Since I work for Superior Threads I knew I had to have some.
Coneiferous by Loralie Harris for Loralei Designs.
Do you think Bob Purcell and Heather Purcell (owners of Superior Threads) would want matching shirts made out of this fabric?
Just kidding! (I love my job and would like to keep it).

    I loved looking through all the quilts from the shops you visited. You have been making some GREAT quilt runs this summer!

    I saw some of those cupcake purses done up at our shop hop. They are so very cute! Your little girlie is going to be s-p-o-i-l-e-d!!! It's all good, though!
