I purchased the pattern "Bewitching" by The Quilted Fish, a local Utah designer.
Amanda Herring doesn't have a web site, but she does have a blog where you can order her patterns.

She said she didn't use any Halloween fabrics in this quilt.
I love the spider web quilting and especially the funky buttons on the hats. I purchased some buttons while I was there, although I may mix them with some Halloween covered buttons too.
There were some fun quilts around the store.
Isn't this a fun border?
They were out of this pattern, but it sure made me think of the teapot exchange.
A lovely quilt poem.
Pat is the owner of Quilts, Etc. and does a great job with the block of the month. The blocks this year are centered around a country. Pat gives the history of the country and gives little know facts about the area.
Then it was time for show and tell from the audience.
A wedding quilt for the presenter who was getting married in a week.
This was from a free pattern that Quilts gave out the month before.
I always enjoy going into Quilts, etc. and try and drop by as often as I can when I am in town.
That must have been super fun to go and share with friends that you have done projects with before. The quilt shop looks so fun--I am so excited for our upcoming shop hop so that I can take in a variety of quilt shops charms. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLove the clever spiderweb quilting. You always have lots of beautiful projects and quilts to share.
ReplyDeleteI love Quilts, Etc. It was the first shop I ever visited up there! It was almost overwhelming the amount of fabric they had!
ReplyDeleteBewitching is such a cute quilt and I really enjoyed show and tell.
ReplyDeleteNedra the wedding was beautiful in your post below. You live in an area that is so pretty.

Quilts Etc is a great little quilt store, actually an unusual one that takes up two stores. I enjoy going in there.

You won't believe how close we were to running into each other. How funny! I was there on Saturday with my friend Nanette. We got there sometime before 12 noon and we were there for at least an hour and a half. I'm sooo sorry I missed seeing you! I was looking at the pictures thinking these quilts look familiar and then as I was reading I realized, hey, I was there!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wrote Nanette but I meant Rae Ann. I've been conversing with Nanette today too! It's late and I'm a little tired. I was up reading until 3am last night. I should go to bed now. Yawn! zzzzzz!
ReplyDeleteQuilts etc is amazing - I have never seen so much fabric in one place!!!
ReplyDeleteI could seriously stop what I'm doing this moment and run to Quilts to make some of those projects. They are all really wonderful. I don't get up there enough.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting the picture of my Bewitching quilt! I hope you enjoy making it. Let me know if you have any questions!
