Whoops. I think it's my fault. To all you people who came here to St. George to run the Marathon I
apologize. I've been kind of complaining about the heat the last few months, and the other day I got out my rain stick and shook it really hard. This morning we woke up to pouring rain. Yes, it's true that we have had hot sunny weather up until this morning.
So, to those of you who had to run in temperatures in the 60's, and ran the risk of slipping on the wet pavement, I'm sorry. To those thousands of spectators who only brought sweaters (and no umbrellas) because you thought you would be in sunny St. George, I offer my
apology.
Next year I'll be more careful and promise to only shake my rain stick after the Marathon is over.
Wow. Who knew my own mother was the actual Mother Nature. You think you know someone...
